Dr Julia Chiu:

Dr. Julia Chiu grew up in the nearby town of Alstonville, and went to university in several major Australian cities before returning back to home on the sunny northern rivers with her husband, two boys and a border collie. She has a special interest in women’s health, youth health, mental health, and emergency medicine and has recently completed 12 months of training at the Lismore Base Hospital Emergency Department. 

Julia studied Fine Art before becoming a doctor, and also enjoys (trying) to surf, and gardening. However, she spends most of her spare time chasing after two little boys at home! 

She looks forward to getting to know the Brunswick Heads community and extending her medical skills in the specialty area of General Practice
